As the managing partner of our firm, R Ramarao plays a vital role in guiding our team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. He brings extensive expertise in risk management, business processes, and internal controls, which he leverages to help clients optimize their operations and reduce risks associated with their activities.

He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He is the past President of the Institute of Internal Auditors, India. He was also the President of its Bangalore Chapter in the past.

In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, Ramarao is actively involved in developing and implementing business strategies that align with our clients’ goals and objectives. He also plays a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, ensuring that we provide personalized service and deliver value to all stakeholders.

Badrinath is a Cost and Management Accountant too. For over 20 years now, his focus has been Indirect Taxes, hitherto comprising of Central Excise, Customs, Service Tax, VAT laws and Foreign Trade and now, GST. He honed his skills as an articled student at SDU.

He is the Chairman for the Indirect Taxes Expert Committee of the Bangalore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is a member of the GST Grievance Redressal Committee recently notified and jointly set up by the Central and the State Governments.

He has been involved in conceptualizing, designing and implementation of tax efficient business models for large organizations and diversified industry verticals. He regularly represents clients before the indirect tax appellate authorities including the Tax Tribunals. He has made many representations to the State Government and Central Government on various occasions.

He enjoys knowledge sharing and often addresses members of the ICAI, industry bodies, tax associations and others. He is on the panel of NACIN (National Academy for Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics) and FPI (Fiscal Policy Institute) for training the officers of CBIC and Karnataka Commercial Taxes Department, respectively. Previously, he was also a faculty for Indirect Taxes at MATS School of Business and Entrepreneurship and for CA final students at the Bangalore Branch of ICAI.

Badrinath is known for his approachability, despite having a somewhat irascible personality. He has a love for fast-paced driving, reminiscent of F1, even on the busy roads of Bengaluru, and excels in delivering effective results. His family, including his wife and teenage daughter, help to keep him grounded.

Bharath is a highly experienced Company Secretary and Lawyer with over 15 years in the field of taxation. He provides expert advice to clients on a range of domestic and cross-border tax issues, including tax optimization strategies, transfer pricing, and exchange control matters. Bharath is also well-versed in representing clients before tax authorities and the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal. In addition to his professional work, he is a co-convenor of the Bangalore Study Group of the Chamber of Tax Consultants in Mumbai.

When not focused on his work, Bharath has a keen interest in astrology, a traditional form of risk management. Despite his unusual pastime, he is a loving husband and proud father to his two daughters.

Hemant is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Internal Audit and Risk Management. He holds the prestigious certifications of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), making him well equipped to tackle complex issues in his field. He has been practicing for over two decades and honed his skills as an articled student at SDU.

Hemant embodies the modern spirit of SDU, with his stylish hair, relaxed demeanor, and aptitude for technology. A competent cricketer, he and his wife are nurturing a potential cricketing star in their teenage son.

Manoj, a seasoned Chartered Accountant with a Cost & Management Accounting degree under his belt, heads the Statutory Audit and Accounting Advisory services at SDU. With a diverse background that spans close to three decades and includes experience at international accounting firms and large business conglomerate, he brings in a wealth of knowledge in Assurance & Governance to the table.

Manoj is a strong team player who swears by his connects and relationship with people. A family man to the core and an emotional infrastructure to his wife and two daughters!

Niraj, who holds the certifications of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), is a seasoned professional in the areas of Internal Audit and Risk Management. With over five years of experience at the helm of our Mumbai office, he plays a crucial role in the operations of the firm. He was also an articled student at SDU.

Niraj is a reserved individual whose thoughts and insights demand attention. Despite his demanding workload, he finds time for the important things in life, such as purchasing potato buns for his wife and taking care of his daughter’s needs.

Shashi Kumar is a specialist in Income Tax law, representation, and litigation. With over 15 years of experience in the field, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his clients. He honed his skills as an articled student in an international accounting firm before joining SDU.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Shashi is known for his youthful energy, which is only heightened by his vibrant and supportive wife. Whether in the office or in his personal life, Shashi is always eager to take on new challenges and make the most of every opportunity.

Siddeshwar is a highly skilled professional specializing in Goods and Services law, representation, and litigation. With over two decades of experience in the field, he offers a unique perspective and broad exposure to his clients. He is also a member of the All India Federation of Tax Practitioners and holds a council position.

In addition to his professional achievements, Siddeshwar is known for his focused and determined approach. He prioritizes the education of his son and wife, with one pursuing their studies and the other working as a teacher. As the head of the Business Consulting practice at SDU, he brings over two decades of experience to the table. He was an articled student at SDU.

Despite his professional success, Vinay remains grounded with the support of his wife and two teenage children.

Vishnu is a specialist in cross-border tax and transfer pricing. With over two decades of experience in the field, he provides comprehensive support to ventures looking to manage their tax function and global expansion. He is well-versed in compliance, representation, and tax optimization strategies, having honed his skills as an articled student in an international accounting firm. Prior to joining SDU, he partnered with Badrinath to build a successful practice.

In his personal life, Vishnu is a food enthusiast and is known for his soothing voice. He is dedicated to his wife and young daughter, and their antics keep him on his toes.
